The cornerstone of Thrive Veterans Center is patient-centered care and promoting health as a positive vitality, beyond just the absence of addiction/chronic illness. By listening to our Veterans and learning their story, Dr. Kevin P. Greene brings the patient into the discovery process and tailors treatments that address the individual’s unique needs. An integrative, science-based healthcare approach. Dr. Greene looks “upstream” to consider the complex web of interactions in the Veteran’s history, physiology, and lifestyle that can lead to addictions/chronic illness.
Thrive Veterans Center focuses on combatting addiction/chronic illness through the use of the latest laboratory testing and other diagnostic techniques, integrated into our Exclusive and All-Inclusive 60-day (Three Phase) BR+ NAD treatment package. Our curriculum integrates the 6 pillars of optimized health: brain recovery, hormones, supplements, nutrition, exercise, and empowerment. At Thrive Veterans Center, Dr. Kevin P. Greene passionately integrates best medical practices with the importance of each pillar and its role in optimized health. It is Dr. Greene’s and the entire Thrive Team’s unyielding belief that we have been, “Called to Serve Those Who Served”.
Our mission is to guide Veterans struggling with addiction, PTSD, SUD, depression, suicidal thoughts, loss of purpose and chronic illness through an integrated system toward a path of lasting sobriety and overall wellbeing. We provide a Veteran centered, culturally competent, holistic treatment program utilizing evidence-based practices to address an individual’s core issues. We strive to vastly improve the physical, spiritual and emotional health of our clients and their families throughout the recovery process.
Our vision is to establish a Veterans Wellness Campus. This campus will treat upwards of 100 Veterans at a time. Dr. Kevin Greene’s holistic treatment track will be the main focal point in helping our heroes regain their life’s purpose and ultimately “Thrive”. It is our belief that having a “campus” like atmosphere, will give our heroes the feeling of being on a college campus as opposed to a hospital. The mindset of our Veterans during this process is vital. We need them to trust in the process. They have EARNED the best possible treatment and we will give them what they have EARNED!
Thrive’s Veterans Center will have beautiful housing. We believe this is detrimental to our Veterans long-term success. Our housing will not only be comfortable, but aesthetically pleasing. All the comforts of home will be provided. It truly will be our Veterans home away from home. Within our campus there will be an art and music building. This building will host art therapy programs, as well as, music therapy programs. It will be stocked with art supplies, instruments and audio/visual equipment. In addition, we will have a chapel on campus for those heroes who choose to spend time with God, pray and decompress. “God, family, country”!
Another unique treatment offered at Thrive Veterans Center will be our Service Dog track. Upon entering our 60-day program, each Veteran will be “given” a young dog. The Veteran will have their dog with them most of the day. Each Veteran will get the opportunity to train their own service dog with a Certified Service Dog Trainer. Upon completion of our program, the Veteran will leave with their service dog. If the Veteran does not need a service dog, they will be given to a Veteran in need of one.
Thrive Veterans Center believes building a strong sense of community “outside” of our campus is of equal importance. Dr. Cathleen Greene’s Empowerment program will not only include learning/motivational sessions, but community-based service projects, as well as, numerous outdoor activities. This will include equestrian therapy, gardening, volunteer opportunities and many additional Veteran selected activities. In addition, upon completion of our program Veterans will be provided job opportunities with local business partners.
Thrive Veterans Center’s vision is to create and establish a full service, community-based wellness campus which will become the template for all other Veteran treatment entities.
After all, “We are our Brother’s Keeper”.
